The Queen's Park FC Foundation Sponsors St Fillan's Primary School's Epic - "Star Warts"

At The Queen’s Park FC Foundation, we are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of an exciting school show at St Fillan’s Primary School. Through a generous donation of £250, we are helping fund costume and design for the much-anticipated sci-fi musical, “Star Warts.” The show is set to take place tomorrow evening and after we heard of the successful dress rehearsal on Monday, we can’t contain our excitement.

Having had the opportunity to speak with Mrs Bridie Gibb, the Principal teacher at St Fillan’s Primary School, we were touched by her appreciation for our contribution. Mrs Gibb emphasized that our “support means a lot and makes a significant difference”. We are humbled by her kind words and are delighted to have been able to play a part in bringing this production to life.

This partnership with St Fillan’s Primary School has been truly invaluable to us. We believe in the power of engaging with the community and providing support where it is needed most. In addition to the financial assistance, we have had the pleasure of arranging visits from inspiring individuals like Leanne Dempster, as well as taking some of the pupils to Queen’s Park football games. We aim to foster a sense of excitement, inspiration, and creativity among the students and staff.

Yesterday’s dress rehearsal was a resounding success, leaving everyone eagerly awaiting the main event. The passion and dedication displayed by the students have been absolutely awe-inspiring, and we have no doubt that their hard work, combined with our support, will result in a truly remarkable performance.

This collaboration between the Queen’s Park FC Foundation and St Fillan’s Primary School exemplifies the true spirit of community engagement. Through initiatives like the school show, we are not only providing memorable experiences but also nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the arts.

We are immensely proud to be a part of this incredible journey, and we extend our warmest gratitude to St Fillan’s Primary School for allowing us to contribute to their students’ growth and development. Together, we are making a positive impact, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in empowering the next generation.
