We would like to share an important update regarding our interest in the Holyrood Sports Centre as a potential new hub for the Foundation. Since late 2023, this project has captured significant interest, and many of you have been eager to see it come to fruition. Following ongoing discussions with Glasgow Life, Glasgow City Council, and our supporting partners, and after careful consideration of all the factors, we have made the decision at this point not to progress with our application to take on the management role of the Holyrood Sports Centre at this time. Having had the opportunity to fully assess all of the requirements expected of this undertaking, the Foundation considered it was not in a position to meet them in full to the satisfaction of its key stakeholders -Glasgow Life and Holyrood High School.

While this may come as disappointing news, we believe it is a necessary step for the future of the Foundation. This decision allows us to focus our efforts on our current activities and future commitments going forward.
