Playing For Success
Through collaboration and funding from the SPFL Trust’s Innovation Fund we have been running our ‘Playing For Success’ programme throughout schools in the Southside.
The programme is designed to:
- Raise attainment
- Literacy
- Numeracy
- Health and Wellbeing
- ICT skills
This project leverages play-based learning to enhance literacy, numeracy, and social skills, aligning with theories of social development.
Through game play, children will engage in collaborative learning, fostering both cognitive growth and social interaction. As they create their own games, they’ll apply instructional writing skills and creative thinking, reinforcing key concepts through experiential learning and peer collaboration.
