Through collaboration with the UEFA Disney Playmakers the programme has the aim of involving more girls in football.

Through movement, play, and storytelling we aim to provide a safe, fun, and engaging pathway into football.

Our Disney Playmakers project currently runs in a local Southside Primary School in which pupils have ventured through enchanted forrest, rescued lost characters, and worked with magical elements while learning and practicing football skills to help them along the way.

UEFA Disney Playmakers uses an innovative storytelling approach featuring much-loved Disney characters such as Moana, Elsa (Frozen), and Mirabel (Encanto) to help girls see the fun in football and regular physical exercise.

The programme is specifically designed for girls aged 5–8 who are new to football. Our coaches play a key role in kick-starting a life-long love of football and physical activity.
