Community Football Programmes
Queen’s Park FC Foundation hosts a number of Community Football Programmes for all ages and stages. The Foundation is passionate about creating access to football at affordable prices, and for all experience levels. Our Mini Spiders and Skills Centre session allow for a great introduction into football and let’s boys and girls experience football at a lower intensity, expectation, and commitment level than joining a team.
Throughout our programmes our participants often stay and naturally progress into the next age group with many opting to join our Community Teams after experiencing our programmes – you can find out more about our community teams here

Spiders Tots
Mini Spiders
Skill Centre
Our Spider Tots programme is aimed at aimed at younger children between 18 months and 3 years who are confident on their feet and walking.
It’s a great introduction to football and introduces the basics skills such as dribbling and passing. We also get parents involved in the sessions which also help to develop balance, coordination, and flexibility.
All sessions are weekly and are held indoors and delivered by our SFA accredited, PVG checked, coaches.
If you would like your toddler to get their first experience of football in really positive, nurturing environment Spider Tots is for you.
The Mini Spiders is for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 5 and provides a rounded approach to developing football skills also focussing on developing communication skills, leadership, teamwork, sharing and physical development.
We also build on skills development learned in our Spiders Tots programme developing dribbling, passing, and shooting. The weekly 45 minute sessions are all indoor and are delivered by experienced Scottish FA qualified coaches who have a current PVG.
Look out also for our certificates that rewards good behaviour, improved football skills, and working with others.
Our Skill Centre is for kids who just want a kick about on a Saturday morning rather than play in our communities, or who are between the Mini Spiders programme and the community teams.
The Skill Centre will focus on developing technique and skills, in a fun environment with short sided games to finish off. All sessions are delivered by experienced SFA accredited coaches with a PVG.
Sessions are weekly delivered by our experienced and qualified Scottish FA coaches who hold a current PVG.
The aim of the programme is to develop the child’s skills and providing them with the confidence to transfer their football skills into a match environment.
